WORDS OF WISDOM FROM THE TODDFATHER!
One of the hardest parts of being successful in the comic industry (or any art industry), is coming up with a STYLE that is visibly recognizable as YOURS. It's one of the BIGGEST hurtles any artist faces.
You want people to INSTANTLY identify your work when they see it in a comic.
And while you want people to recognize your work, the SECOND challenge is creating a style for YOURSELF that allows you to keep your DEADLINES.
It's a DAILY battle artist face...including ME! There are days where I have to put down the pen and STOP noodling my art just to meet whatever deadline I have in front of me. And inevitably, there's ANOTHER deadline just around the corner.

PALABRAS DE SABIDURIA DE EL TOODPADRE!
Una de las partes más difíciles de tener éxito en la industria del cómic (o en cualquier industria del arte) es crear un ESTILO que sea visiblemente reconocible como PROPIO. Es uno de los obstáculos más GRANDES que cualquier artista ha de enfrentarse.
Quieres que las gente identifique tu trabajo al instante cuando lo vean en un cómic.
Y si bien quieres que las personas reconozcan tu trabajo, el SEGUNDO desafío es crear un estilo para TI MISMO que te permita alcanzar las FECHAS DE ENTREGA.
Es el frente de la batalla DIARIA del artista... ¡incluyéndome a mí! Hay días en los que tengo que dejar el lápiz y DEJAR de improvisar mi arte solo para cumplir con cualquier fecha de entrega que tengo frente a mí. E inevitablemente, hay OTRA fecha de entrega a la vuelta de la esquina.
